Project Overview

PDS designed and documented a 6 hectare, fully regenerated riparian zone as part of the restoration of Bells Creek. These works were part of the condition of approval associated with a large planned residential subdivision that straddled both sides of the Bells Creek.

PDS collaborated on the project to design several large off line rain gardens, batter and channel planting in addition to a 150m length pedestrian bridge that links the community retail centre to the local community park. The bridge attracts a heavy footfall from local residents, and in particular school students, as a key community connection from the retail centre and public transport along Richmond Road to the residential areas to the north of the creek.
